    I'm sad to see the review average for this company not higher, but if you filter most recent reviews I would agree with the 5 stars! I've use JEM appliance twice for warranty repairs on my washer. The first time was back in 2017. I didn't post a review - there was nothing drastically wrong or superbly wonderful, they came out and repaired a circuit board on my washer. Job was done and had no issues.

    So, same washer still under warranty has another issue. I am pleasantly surprised and happy with the quick response to messages that I leave at all hours as my work time is never within any 9-5 range. I needed a part ordered so was asked to email photos of broken parts.. I didn't hear back so followed up a couple days later and the part was already ordered - so yay for that and good that I followed up we all get busy. The part arrived and they called the same day to schedule repair. I figured I'd wait another week or so but they came out a day or so after that worked for me. I was given notice within a reasonable window. I had such personable calls by phone and a very conscientious repair man that was polite, respectful, and efficient. He was done in no time. After testing my washer he was on his way.

    It's been over a week and several washings now. All is good. I've dealt with many companies with warranty work and it's not always this easy. I'd use JEM even without warranty work and out of pocket. They were great and the polite, efficient work is much appreciated!

    Jose and Juan came to service my washer and dryer and did an excellent job. Professional and very tidy. Also discovered JEM services other appliances ovens, dishwashers and freezers/refrigerators too which will make annual servicing needs easy to plan.

    Jose and Kai (forgive me if I'm spelling that wrong) came out to fix a leak for my washer. After a quick but thorough inspection, we found that there was actually drainage coming from a clogged pipe. Jose also pointed out that there was some bad corrosion on another pipe connected to the water heater, which could lead to serious problems if we let it go unnoticed. He probably saved us a lot of time, money, and hassle by pointing that out, and it is very appreciated.

    Our dryer broke on Sunday night. It is only four months old so I called the store where we bought it on Monday morning and they put me in touch with Jem Appliance. I called Jem and they scheduled an appointment for me for Wednesday. They (Jose and his assistant) showed up on time and immediately knew what the problem was and had it fixed within an hour. I was impressed and pleased with the service and would definitely use them again. Jose and his assistant were fast, efficient and professional. Thank you.

    We had a problem with our dishwasher, which cannot be stopped by the power button and had a strange noise.
    Technician Jose showed up and boom. He fixed all in 10min.
    He is very friendly and knowledgeable.
    I will definitely ask them if anything happened with my appliances next time. highly recommended!

    We had a problem with our kitchen cooking range ; the top glass has cracked . JEM Appliance person (Jose) came, inspected and pursued through the insurance company, as the equipment is under extended warranty and fixed the cooking range with a new top glass.     I had a great overall experience with JEM and would recommend using them! The latch on our Frigidaire dishwasher broke/stopped working and it was past our warranty period. It was hard to get ahold of them, we called several times but no one answered. But once we were able to catch them on the phone, everything went really well. We scheduled an appointment and within a few days Jose came out to fix our dishwasher. Keep in mind that they charge a little more than the going rate to come out and diagnose the issue with your appliance but it goes towards the overall repair cost. Jose was courteous and quick! He fixed our dishwasher within 20 minutes! Not knowing the model number of our dishwasher, he anticipated the issue and brought a few different handles/latches with him. Plus, I had a good conversation with Jose while he fixed the dishwasher.

    Contacted Lowe's department to address issue I was having with my 1 year old gas cooktop. Immediately scheduled with JEM Appliance a day later, Jose & one other came to look, determined which piece seems to be replaced. Few weeks later (it did take a bit longer than expected for the part to arrive but that's not these guy's fault), we schedule for another appt where Jose & one other come in to repair. They had to take out the wall oven to access cooktop (heavy work). After an hour or so, work is finished and cooktop is functioning as well as before. Highly appreciated for their skill to address problem and get it resolved!

    My washing machine would not spin dry. Jose and his assistant arrived on time.

    Jose diagnosed the problem and replaced the defective part. They were in and out of the house within 45 minutes.

    The techs carried a version of magic slides in their tool kit. This is something no other vendor has ever had with them. Really makes sliding the washer very easy.

    You would not know they were there as they cleaned up after themselves.

    Called Lowes warranty dept to get my refrigerator fixed, Jose from Jem Appliance came on time as scheduled and fixed the problem. The time he took to fix the problem is even less than the time I used to empty the refrigerator. Highly recommended.

    Wish the issue will not come back again. Will keep eyes on it and update if necessary.

    My GE over the counter microwave extended warranty service call from Lowe's went to JEM. Got a call 10 minutes before their arrival. Two of them arrived on time, fixed the microwave, good work. No issues. Since I did not have to pay, I do not know how is their service charge but no issues from work or promptness.

    OK, they're hard to get a hold of, kept getting answering machine. But they are the only repair shop, out of several listed listed on the Speed Queen warranty list, that serves Danville CA. So I was already upset after calling several other places. BUT have to say that service was great. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my 3-month old washer. User error! Technician Cornelio Rupert was fantastic. Told me I wasn't the only one who experienced my problem. I was holding the start button down for too long - so washer went straight to rinse or spin, with no wash. Duh - just pass me the dunce cap. But he made me feel better, and gave advice on proper use, best settings, etc. And let me start a load of clothes to be sure I knew what to do. Very pleased. However, it would be nice if they got additional help answering the phone.

    My Samsung dryer stopped spinning one day. Luckily I had a service plan with Lowe's. I called them and set up an appointment to have it looked at.

    Jose from Jem appliance came in and within 20 minutes had it working properly again. I was very surprised at how quickly he had it up and running. I was expecting it to take a few hours not a few minutes.

    I would definitely recommend Jose and Jem appliance.

    Our dryer lost all heat. The two servicemen who came-- at the requested time-- worked immediately and took the whole dryer apart until they figured out that two parts needed to be replaced. They were efficient and knowledgeable. They were excellent and efficient and certainly deserve the highest rating.

    Great service. These guys came in on a extended warranty for a Samsung refrigerator. They were the second company to attempt to fix it and they nailed it. They came in an assessed. And they were back within a week to install the parts. Great experience, nice technicians.

    JEM appliance was contracted to provide service through the extended warranty for my Frigidaire freezer. The freezer was not keeping the required freezing temperature. In general, I have had many problems with Frigidaire freezers. Since it's a freezer I needed repair services right away. I called and was told they would need to order parts before performing the service. So they couldn't come for at least a week. In the meantime I bought a new freezer so as not to loose all the food in the freezer. I decided to have the original freezer fixed anyway given I had a warranty. Jose replaced one part and it was still not working. Then he replaced a filter unit and it worked. I like that he was able to solve the problem in one visit rather than me having to set up another appointment.

    We heard about JEM Appliance because of a service contract with Lowe's. They were able to schedule an appointment within a few days and called ahead on the day of to let us know they were coming. Jose was able to find the problem and fixed our clogged washer. I would be happy to work with them again :)

    My Electrolux front loading washing machine started to leak this morning and it's now 2:45 in the afternoon and I am back to doing my laundry!! Such a relief!
    I first spoke with the office manager who was very professional and kind. She put me on a brief hold to call her technicians to see who could help me. Jose was able to get here and diagnose the problem within a couple of hours. He even drove to Berkeley for the part I needed. He showed me the part and the tear in the old tube confirming the issue. His diagnostic fee was very fair and was applied to the cost of his labor and the part. Jose and his assistant were very conscientious about the space around them while doing the repair. They cleaned up thoroughly after completing the job.
    All in all, I highly recommend this very professional appliance repair company!! Thanks Jose!!

    The Freezer of our French Door Frigidaire, which was still under warranty, was icing and I called for Jem Appliance. They sent someone the following day and JOSE figured out the problem immediately. He was knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. I'm very happy with Jose and the repair he did.

    This was warranty service on my Samsung French Door refrigerator.
    The freezer was defrosting, the center drawer was not getting cold and the ice-maker stopped making ice.
    The warranty provider dispatched A&E Appliance repair. A tech came out and diagnosed the problem & ordered 2 parts. About a week passed and the parts showed up on my door step. More days to schedule A&E to install parts. They installed parts and left.
    Next morning nothing had changed. Frig was still doing the same thing.
    I called the warranty provider to appeal for a different service provider since I was convinced A&E didn't have the ability to fix my frig.
    The warranty provider dispatched JEM Appliance. The tech came out & pressed a couple of buttons and got an error code. He said the defrost heater or the defrost sensor was bad. he pulled out the freezer drawer and a panel behind the freezer drawer and sure enough the whole back of the freezer was full of ice. Blocking all the passages to the ice maker, center drawer and the top refrig. He went to his truck and brought back a new heater with sensor. He tested a plug and found the sensor was bad. The new heater was the wrong one for my frig. but the sensor would work for mine. He defrosted all of the ice and we cleaned up the mess. He installed the new sensor and the rest of the frig. He did a complete reset on the frig and left. That was yesterday. This morning, ice maker was full, center drawer was cold and the ice cream in the freezer was frozen again.
    Why 4 stars instead of 5. He showed up 1 later than the appointment (1-5pm) and nobody from JEM called to let me know. I actually didn't think anyone was going to come at all. Good thing I didn't have a commitment somewhere else. I would have missed him.
    I understand these tech folks have no idea what they going to encounter when they go on a call. I also understand that they can't keep every conceivable part they may need in there van. The expense of stocking all that inventory would be enormous but they should be in contact with the office and the office should be updating customers. Managing customer expectations is/or should be the 1st rule of running a business.

    I received fantastic warranty service on my samsung washer. The office scheduled my appointment promptly, and the technician (Ricky) called when he was on his way. Most importantly, he stayed until he found what was causing the intermittent leak that had been making me crazy for months, and fixed it right then. I'm very pleased.

    After about a year, my Samsung refrigerator started giving me problems. Of course this was immediately after the warranty expired. I contacted Samsung and was told that I would Have to pay for the service call and parts. They gave me the phone number to Jem appliance and told me that I could call them to schedule appointment to come out or even just to get advice. When I contacted Jem appliance, they were very helpful and explained what actions I could take. The technician on the phone (Lawrence), was very helpful and explained to me how Samsung (the company) worked. This conversation with Lawrence saved me a boatload of money on this repair. Extremely happy so far with my service!

    I don't know why this place gets so many bad reviews? My Samsung washer door lock broke and luckily it was still in warranty. My appt window was between 9am-1pm. Ricky, the service tech, called me around 10 to confirm that he was on his way and arrived shortly after. He took about 15 minutes to diagnose and repair the door lock. Best experience I've ever had with a service person. Thanks Ricky and Jem Appliance. I have the utmost confidence in Samsung and their service choice. I will have no problems purchasing Samsung products in the future knowing that it's serviced by people like Ricky at Jem Appliance.

    Samsung sent out Jem to fix my refrigerator under warranty. The Jem technician named Linden was very respectful, clean, and professional. He came in and got the job done and took the time to give me directions on what to do if I restart the frige. I am highly satifyed and reccomend Jem for your appliance repair needs.

    Just received repair service from Jem to fix ice maker on my Samsung fridge.
    After reading previous reviews I Was surprised with an excellent service and professionalism.

    After contacting Samsung appointment was scheduled for the next week. However, I received immediately call back from Jem. Lis offered next day visit by technician. between 11 and 3PM. At 2:30 I received call from technician that he will come soon in 20min.
    And he was exact in time as promised. Problem with broken wire was immidiately discovered and fixed. Fridge was reset, tested and fully funcional.
    Technician was extremely polite and helpful with advise how to avoid similar problem in future.

    I was apprehensive after reading the other reviews, but I had a great experience with JEM on my Samsung front load washer. They called quickly to set up an appointment, and the technician called again prior to arrival.

    The technician (Ricky) was prompt, pleasant, and thoughtful. He kept me informed during the repair, which he completed quickly. He mentioned that he gets regular training from Samsung. It showed.

    I wouldn't hesitate to call JEM again.

    The repair was scheduled for Friday before memorial day weekend and as you can imagine everyone was trying to get out of town. I came home early from work to wait for the service guy. I received a call after waiting for about an hour that he was on his way to San Jose. But he had one stop before me. Then about 30 minutes later I received another call. This time it was to reschedule. Traffic was really bad, and the it would have taken the service guy a really long time to make it to my house, and he had a personal emergency that came up.

    I have to admit I was frustrated, having come home early from work to wait, and then they didn't show. However the person on the phone told me that Ricky would be out first thing Saturday morning. Sure enough, Saturday morning, he called me about 9am and said he would be there within 30 minutes. He showed up about 9:20, and diagnosed the problem right away. I already knew what was wrong, but just didn't have the time to fix it myself. He was very nice and courteous. He apologized for the inconvenience he cause the previous day. He was very clean, as we had to take everything out of the Samsung fridge for him to access the back panel. He had the spare part that needed to be replaced with him, and had a steamer to defrost the mechanism quickly. Needless to say, he did a great job and was out within an hour. I had read some reviews online about this fridge and an easy fix to prevent this problem in the future. The problem where the condensation freezes in the drain hole and then water pools in the bottom of the fridge. Ricky applied that fix to help prevent this problem from ever happening again.

    I read other reviews on this, and they all seem mixed. My experience was great. Ricky was really nice. If i have to use them again, I will try to request Ricky. However I don't know if Ricky only services Samsung products.

    Monday night, July 2, 2012 - I break our Samsung AV- series stackable dryer by spinning the drum counter-clockwise and dislodging the belt.
    Tuesday night, July 3, 2012 - I call Samsung and get the Jem Appliance number. Speak with Lawrence at Jem who informs me that he will get back to me regarding scheduling later in the day. Speak again with Lawrence and he indicates that due to the holiday weekend we would not get a repair until Monday, I am disappointed but resigned. Lawrence tells me he will inquire with a repair technician, Lyndon about repair sooner. Lawrence calls back and lets me know Lyndon could come by Wednesday, July 4 at 8am to fix the dryer. This is very good news.
    Wednesday morning 8:20am, July 4, 2012 - Lawrence calls to let me know that Lyndon is outside - which is great as our dog freaks when someone knocks. Lyndon and an associate (whose name I don't recall) enter and get to work. 25 mins later the belt is replaced and life is good. Lawrence calls back to make sure the job was done correctly.
    I see that there are several negative reviews regarding Jem's customer service but our experience was amazing, especially with the short notice and the holiday intervening. I would highly recommend Jem to anyone with Samsung appliance repair needs.

    Jem Appliance Lyndon and Chito came to my home to repair my washer... they were on time and very polite and professional. They repaired my washer and left my home within a very short time. They quickly found out why my washer was not locking!!! They are awesome and I even spoke to Lawrence in the office the morning of my appt to confirm the time they would arrive, he was very polite and professional as well.     I purchased a $2500 refrigerator from BB less than three years ago and it quit working over the Christmas holiday. Not good. Samsung referred me to JEM which did not make me feel any better. I read their poor yelp reviews and prepared myself for the worse. Desperate to have my very expensive refrigerator working, I made an appointment with JEM.

    Despite what earlier reviews have reported, my phone calls w/the JEM dispatchers and appointments w/Ricky, the appliance technician were very professional. He (Ricky) correctly diagnosed the problem and JEM put a rush order on the required parts and appointment, so that I could have the refrigerator working again. The refrigerator is still working and the work was covered under the Samsung warranty, so this was a very positive experience w/JEM.

    We have a beautiful Samsung Fridge and due to several recent power outages from PGE working in our area, we had some problems with the fridge. We called JEM Applicance in Hayward and spoke with Lawrence who was the consumate professional in superior Customer Service. He took his time to listen to our concerns and assured us that a rep would come to our home and diagnose the problem. They sent Mitchell, a highly qualified tech to look at the fridge and troubleshoot any problem(s). He was professional, on time, courteous and highly knowledgeable in his field.
    I will certainly recommend JEM Appliance to any of our family and friends. They have our "5 star" review as they are so deserving~

    I had a problem with my Samsung dryer while under warranty, so Samsung contracted to Jem Appliance to repair it. The scheduling department, while friendly, is not their strongest suit. However, the technicians they send out make up for any moderate inconvenience. They have come three times now (3 totally different problems) and each time they arrived on time, listened to me describe the problem, and fixed it.

    This last time I called them, it was out of my own pocket rather than through a warranty repair, so I was paying more attention to things like cost and guarantees. I felt very comfortable that the technician knew what he was doing and was going to repair the machine. I had called a different company to do this repair, but the tech they sent did not seem to have a clue how to even open the washing machine and quoted $500 to repair it, stating there would be no guarantee it would work after we paid the $500. Jem Appliance fixed it for $95 and they guarantee their work.

    Based on 3 different service repairs and different techs, I completely trust Jem Appliance to understand the job and do it right.

He additionally balance our doors on fridge (they were out of alignment). Thank you for your efficient efforts. He provided excellent work and was extremely detailed in all areas of needed repair.

    My Samsung DV448AEP dryer would not heat up. It was only about 2 years old so I was hoping it would not be to big of a deal to fix. I tried calling several places and they all stated that they do not work on Samsung products. Wow...I was a bit shocked by that and wish I had known that information before purchasing my Samsung Appliances. Either case, I found Sears and the outfit JEM.

    I contacted Sears thinking they would be more customer focussed and knowledgeable. Boy was I wrong. They took forever to take all my information and then at the very end of the process of scheduling your appointment they throw these crazy pricing options at you. Pay $200 then get ulimited repairs/service for 1 year or pay a flat rate of $129 + parts, but you only get 90 day warranty. Not only was it confusing, it felt like they were selling me a car with the sales pitch at the very end. Not what I wanted to deal with after being on the phone for 20 minutes to schedule a simple appointment.

    I hung up and contacted JEM who I found off the Samsung website. I was a bit reluctant since I saw so many "-" review, but it was completely the opposite experience for me. Their office called me back right away and scheduled an appointment for the next day vs. Sears which was over a week.

    Their technician Ricky, called 1/2 hour before arriving and he was on time. He asked a few questions and was immediately able to diagnose the problem. He gave me a quote which I thought was a bit high at first, but he later came down on the price. He knew exactly what he was doing and had my dryer up and running in 1/2 hour.

    I would of gave them 5 stars if the price were better, but you get what you pay for. Thanks for the great service Ricky!

    I set up this repair of my washing machine 8 days in advance. The repairman (Jan Oliva) arrived on the day, and called shortly before he arrived.
    He was competent and courteous. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in short order, without needing replacement parts.

    Vishal was helpful and prompt, arriving soon after 10am. Came in my service window of 10-2. Very courteous and friendly. Wore shoe covers without asking. Also fixed my broken Samsung washer door. And switched sides on my Samsung dryer door!

    Only way it could have been better is if they had been scheduled to come earlier and/or have choice of appt times. Washer reported broken on a Monday evening and while originally told would be repaired Thursday, ended up being Friday.

    We referred to JEM by Samsung for our fridge (as for the fridge and samsung- 1 star), However, JEM appliances has been out 3 separate times for different issues and each time they have been very professional, timely and helpful. Two of the issues we had were the same and the second time they came out they even showed us the issue and showed us how to prevent/ fix it ourselves next time.

    This time we had Fernando come out and he was so nice. I was running late from work and he waited ON ME! for my appointment. He was quick, courteous, and helpful. I would definitely call them again for our appliances. Thanks!

    Jose at JEM Appliance was FANTASTIC! After a horrible experience with another service (sent out to us via our Electrolux warranty service) - JEM and Jose saved me from a 4th weekend at the laundromat!

    Jose quickly determined the problem, figured out what was needed and in less than 20 minutes fixed my washer! No more weekends at the laundromat!

    I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them for any of your service calls or appliance needs!

    I had four visits from Jem Appliance, the first was a diagnosis and the three were service visits. There were different technicians at each visit. I put in 4 stars because although the technicians were all courteous, the first 2 technicians had a miscommunication in their paperwork which caused them not to have the right parts for the fridge, and therefore another visit and delay in waiting for a different part to repair my fridge. The visits and delays in waiting for the parts resulted in several weeks of not having a fridge. Thankfully it was fixed with the final repair!

    It would be 5 stars if I had gotten the last technician, Lito, to do the repair the first time around. Lito is the service manager and he was beyond helpful and knowledgeable in fixing my 8 month old Frigidaire refrigerator. He went over all the repairs the prior technicians have done and pretty much dissected my refrigerator to solve the issue. Because of his diligence and knowledge, my refrigerator is now running perfectly!

    This place really helped me out when my Whirlpool washing machine broke on me. I called them and got a tech to come out the as soon as possible. There was a broken part inside my washing machine that I had them replace. They didn't have the part my machine needed that day but they came back the next day with the correct part. They fixed it pretty quick, within an hour. The cost of my washing machine wasn't bad for the repairs that they did. It was a lot of damage. I would also like to include that the dispatcher was great! She took care of me and knew exactly what I needed without hassle.

    Jem appliance was great! They treated me and my home with respect. My refridgerator was broken and it made a weird noise every few minutes. I called jem appliance and they advised me to take the food out as soon as possible because they said it will probably not get cold anymore. And later that night, they were right! The fridge wasn't getting cold anymore. good thing they told me to put everything in a cooler before hand. They sent in a technician the next day to fix it and he was super polite and helpful! He knew what he was doing. He fixed my fridge within 45 mins. The price was reasonable considering they had to replace a part in it. I would call them again!

    I was given the referral to JEM from my appliance protection plan thru Home Depot. I had a problem with my LG dryer and a code appeared related to the issue. I was hesitant to contact JEM because of the reviews but decided to proceed since the problem seemed pretty self explanatory. I was contacted by Crystal in the office and an appointment made. I gave her the code and the related item that needed replacement per dryer manual. She ordered the part and an appt made to accommodate the time needed to receive the item. I received a reminder call in the AM and was able to further pinpoint an arrival time ( they arrived a little earlier than stated ). The work was done efficiently and correctly. Since I had the code and was able to relay this info, the appointment was very efficient and productive. Kudos JEM!

    We took a risk of buying a LG refrigerator when we remodeled our kitchen in December 2015. The ratings were good. But I guess we bought a lemon! Several repair calls from the LG technician didn't resolve the problem.
    Jose came and looked at the refrigerator and immediately identified what the LG technician didn't do when he replaced the condenser, and fixed the refrigerator! We couldn't be more happier that JEM Appliance came to our rescue!

    Jose (and colleague) came out to fix an upright freezer (manufacturer's warranty repair) - they were both courteous, prompt, and super efficient. Within ten minutes, they'd accurately diagnosed the problem, and repaired the unit within the hour (replacing a clogged filter). These guys are great - highly recommended.

    Jose came out to fix my Samsung Ice Maker on Monday. This is the 4th time he has been out to my home to fix same problem. He is always professional, courteous, and prompt. Issue is with the manufacturer (Samsung) not with JEM. I would recommend Jose to anyone who needs an appliance repair.

    Had my washing machine repaired under warranty. First kudos go out to Mary, the Customer Service Rep. who responded quickly to my concerns. She was first of three companies to get movement towards getting the machine fixed after over a month. She asked the right questions to get correct info up front.

    The Technician Jose who was dispatched to fix the washing machine was extremely courteous and reassured me that he would fix my washing machine. He was assisted by June during this endeavor. Jose effectively communicated what the problem was and what he was going to do to repair the machine. He promptly replaced every part, except for the rim. He only took a break to drink water, as the machine was in the garage which was sweltering hot (over 90 degrees that day). He also waited and ran the machine thru the spin cycle to ensure the machine was fixed. He appeared extremely knowledgeable on what he was doing. He commented to his assistant that he wanted to make sure the customer was happy.

    I own a 5 burner burner Frigidaire stove top of the line for Frigidaire and I have a 5 year warranty. Lowe's sent Jem Appliance out to repair my stove. The problem was one of my burners was clogged up and not working and my oven glass wasn't self cleaning.

    Joselito R knows his stuff he took his time and fixed my burner and he also took apart my oven door that wouldn't self clean. He did an excellent job I've never had and Appliance company such an excellent job. I'm am very very pleased with the repair. Excellent repair job.

    I called Lowe's to fix my Samsung fridge under extended warranty and they sent me JEM. The appointment was made 2 days in advanced and they kept me worried because I didn't get a call from JEM the day before my appointment to confirmed. I called and left 2 voice messages. Finally, the rep called me on the day of my appointment and said the technicians are on their way. I am very happy with Jose and Jin's service. They changed the fridge panel which has a part that is clogging up water instead of allowing to evaporate. They worked really fast and completed the task in about half an hour. I will need to wait and see if my fridge will work normally now.

    JEM Appliance gave outstanding customer service today. We have a service contract with Lowes and frankly have often been disappointed
    with the contractors they send out. Not so with JEM - they did a great job. We had two stacked washer/dryers that needed repair. It turns out Lowes only sent a work order for one of them. While JEM was working on the first repair, I called Lowes and explained the problem. A supervisor at Lowes was able to add the missing work order for the second appliance which was scheduled for 2 days out (Friday before Christmas). I called JEM'S dispatch who was able to add it immediately while their repairmen, Jose and Jem, were still on site. JEM professionalism and flexibility to handle a problem that was generated at Lowes made a huge difference to me - I had functioning washers/dryers before the houseguests arrive!

    I don't do many reviews but happy to do one in this case!

    I've never post a Yelp review, but my experience with the companies below impelled me to do it.

    JEM Appliance, Awesome Service!
    We had our stove from Lowe's out of service, display went out. First company the sent out we amateurs Appliance Repair Heroes. Not a They misdiagnosed the problem with the stove, we were waiting on a part that they said we needed, never updated us. This went on for almost two months. Very poor customer service.

    We called Lowe's to send out another company...next day Jem Appliance came out with Jose and Jun. They were very thorough, explained what the issue was and why the stove was not working, replaced the parts that really needed to be fixed and our stove was working within the hour.

    Lesson learned with Lowe's...do not let them send out whoever they want. Avoid Appliance Repair Heroes, Lowe's can care less about the reviews of some the company's they send out..request this company JEM Appliance.

    Jose was on time and quickly diagnosed the burner ignition malfunction on my new gas stove -- igniter insulation had cracked during manufacture or shipping. Replaced quickly and he even reset the clock before he left.
    All is good and now we're cooking with gas on all four burners.

    We just had our Drier repaired by Jose at Jem Appliace, Jose diagnosed the horrible drier vibration in a few minutes, as a bad blower assembly , even had the part in his truck. Installed it , he was in and out in less then 30 minuets, no more vibrating drier no more noise .
    I would recommend Jose from Jem to all my family and friends.
